Here is my latest Cosplay adventure - A Dark Jedi/Jedi Outfit!
Totally unique, hand made patterns tailored to me, much of it hand sewn with larger seams done on a machine, Belt and Saber and Tabi are the only pieces I didn't make myself.
My "Don't Fuck With Me" Look. Hehe, LOVE how this one turned out. I'm always accused of being cute when I'm mad, so I think this one is my only picture ever that I actually might look intimidating. Hehe
"Rare Smile" My Jedi/Dark Jedi (who I have a vague back story for) is a pretty serious and damaged person, but those few times she does relax, you just might see a small, sad smile...

Backstory: During the Old Republic Era, Alessia was a daughter of a primitive warrior clan on Dathomir. She quickly realized her skill with a blade and throwing darts were superior to those of her sisters. After a month long coming-of-age trial deep in the treacherous and deadly jungles alone, she earned an honored place under their clan’s matriarch. Seeing the fire and turmoil within Alessia, the Matriarch knew she wouldn’t be content with clan life and so sent her off with a merchant family that had gained the trust of the clan – to find her destiny among the stars.
Traveling with the Merchant family, she was introduced to an older Jedi Sentinel who quickly discovered her Force Sensitivity. Revealing it to Alessia, he agreed to take her to the Temple on Coruscant to see if the Council would agree to letting her learn the ways of the Jedi. However, the Sentinel had sensed a deep taint of the Dark Side in the young woman – one that had taken years to take root. Unknown to her clan on Dathomir, they had grown strong in the shadow of an old Sith Lord’s Mausoleum, which was hidden in the depths of a bluff near their training grounds – the relics and Force Ghost of the ancient Sith empowering and instilling his will in the jungle warrior clan.
With the encouragement and certainty of the aging Sentinel, the Council reluctantly agreed to allow Alessia’s training. Trained on Coruscant and other Republic worlds, all knowledge of Tython was forbidden to her, even it’s existence – there were other restrictions the Council felt necessary to help guide her on the path of light despite her “obvious” taint. Separate and ostracized by most padawans and their masters, the Sentinel taught the eager and quick learner all he knew with the kindness of a father Alessia had never known. Throughout her training, there were times when her master would scold her harshly – having unwittingly used the Dark Side of the Force, with time she began to recognize it. Knighted against all odds in her mid-twenties, she became a sentinel and struck out on her own – out of both necessity and desire: many of her fellow Jedi still avoided her or despised what she represented: the presence of the Light and Dark sides of the Force in concert.
After many years abroad, finding more and more evidence of Dark Side users, Alessia’s old Master reached out to her. Agreeing to meet back at the Temple on Coruscant, she knew the Sentinel’s time was growing short – they were meeting to say farewell for the last time. Spending a few quiet days together, her mentor, master, and father figure silently became one with the Force during the night of the fourth day. And that morning, amidst her darkly enhanced turmoil and mourning, the Sith sacked Coruscant.
Ascending from the resident level to make sense of the chaos in the Force and echoing halls of the Temple, Alessia couldn’t comprehend the utter destruction of the entrance hall. Moving silently through the less populated areas of the Temple, she came upon a squad of young Sith Acolytes looking to make names for themselves by slaughtering the younglings. With a battle cry of Dathomir, she fell upon them like an enraged Rancor, slipping and slicing through them like a furious Nexu, her rage lessened only when the last of the acolytes laid severed and still amongst their defenseless prey.
Stumbling and numb, Alessia blindly made it out of the ruined temple, smoke and death everywhere. Slipping onto a fleeing cargo vessel, she spiraled through all of the deepest darkest pits of the galaxy. Fighting in gladiatorial combat, working as a hired hand for the scum of Nal Hutta, she eventually found herself on Nar Shaddaa. Working black market runs, bouncing VIP events for the Cartel bosses, and various other protection gigs or kill orders – Alessia lived job to job – only distantly interested in the war between the Jedi and Sith. But her destiny wouldn’t let her hide forever. . .
I'd love to hear what you guys think!
Enjoy!
